Lenovo, Mindware partner to target SMBs
Distributor authorised to supply Lenovo Think product array
PC powerhouse Lenovo and regional distributor Mindware have signed a distribution deal aimed at boosting connectivity and productivity amongst the region's SMB sector.
Under the deal, Mindware is the authorised distributor of Lenovo's Think product range including: ThinkPad Edge and ThinkPad Classic in the UAE, Kuwait, Bahrain and Oman.
Mohammed Hilili, general manager Gulf for Lenovo, said: "We are excited to be partnering with Mindware to increase the availability of our Think array of products in the Middle East. Today, 95% of businesses registered in the UAE and 93% of businesses in Saudi Arabia fall into the SME category, whilst overall in the Middle East and North Africa SMBs are recognised for their contribution of 28% of the region's income.
"What is important for these entities to note is that technology can be the make or break of a strong business operation - a fact as relevant to a sole trader as to the most complex multinational organisation. At Lenovo we ensure our business products always help increase productivity and mobility without compromising on functionality or security."
Hilili said Lenovo's channel strategy in the region rests on working closely with its partners such as Mindware to bring local insight and ensure brand differentiation whilst additionally helping the company to drive the best customer experience at the point of sale.
