Courion expands operations with Paramount deal
Vendor signs Paramount to bring identity and access management solutions to the region
Courion Corporation, a provider of identity and access management (IAM) solutions, has signed Paramount Computer Systems, the UAE-based IT enterprise security and services solutions provider, as its reseller partner for the Middle East.
Under the accord, Paramount will resell the Courion Access Risk Management Suite to customers in all industries across the region that want to improve IT security operations and leverage access intelligence to streamline governance and better manage access risk. The partnership also involves having dedicated Courion personnel at Paramount's offices.
"Courion's IAM suite is highly regarded here for good reason," said Paramount CEO Premchand Kurup. "We look forward to introducing the Access Risk Management Suite to our customers. We are confident they will seize new opportunities for better identifying, managing and settling their access risk."
"Paramount has had extraordinary success satisfying and retaining customers," said Marc Lee, director, Courion EMEA. Lee said Courion's relationship with Paramount is a model for the rest of the world.
"Our strategy is to invest in channel partners that can deliver the risk-driven IAM solutions the market is demanding and the business value customers are seeking," added Mike Parise, vice president of Global Alliances at Courion. "Rather than establishing a direct presense in every geography or segment, we will often choose to invest in and enable go-to-market alliances that make it easy for partners like Paramount to work with us and grow their revenue."
