According to the VAD, the new office is based in Casablanca and will serve the fast growing market for IT products and solutions in North Africa.
Spectrami said the Morocco operations are led by a team of senior IT professionals who bring with them decades of relevant industry experience.
Said Khoubbach will head the team as general manager for North Africa, while Majid Lrhazi will manage the business development in the capacity as sales director, stated Spectrami.
Anand Choudha, managing director at Spectrami, said: "The new Moroccan office will be instrumental in helping us achieve our growth objectives. It will also be responsible for the development of business and the administration of new projects in Morocco and the whole of North Africa."
Choudha added that apart from the existing product portfolio, Spectrami intends to introduce more products to the North African market and is looking forward to engaging with new vendors exclusively for that region. "We are confident that with an experienced team in place and active support of our vendors, we will be able to provide better margins to our channel partners in North Africa," said Choudha.
Khoubbach joins Spectrami after working for 25 years in the IT industry in various roles both in Morocco and in the region and Lrhazi has worked for 15 years with Xerox, and HP Africa managing and developing business and channel in North and West.
