Lenovo touts Partner Network Program
New partner programme to focus on skills development and rewards for partners
PC powerhouse Lenovo has unveiled the Lenovo Partner Network Program, which has been designed to skill-up the channel base and strengthen the relationship between the vendor and channel partners across the Middle East and Africa (MEA) region.
Lenovo said the introduction of the programme locally reflects its long-term commitment to equipping existing and new channel partners with in-depth knowledge and tools to enhance their businesses.
Comprising of three tiers namely Member, Premium and Gold, the Lenovo Partner Network Program is designed to educate channel partners and potential members on the benefits of working with Lenovo.
According to Lenovo, the initiative aims to reward loyal partners through an updated membership status (Premium or Gold) whereby they are entitled to additional resources and benefits.
Djillali Lahiani, MEA channel manager at Lenovo MEA, said: "Our channel partners are fundamental to the success of our business as we strive towards becoming the number one PC manufacturer globally. The channel is our primary route to both the enterprise and consumer market, and it is important that partners understand our products and capabilities."
Lahiani said the relationship with partners is the crux of Lenovo's success globally and in the region. "We invest heavily in this relationship and ensure our product portfolio is designed to enable our partners to succeed. We are excited about Lenovo Partner Network Program and look forward to the long-term results that this scheme will yield in supporting and helping our channel partners."
Lahiani added that Lenovo's channel strategy in the region rests on two cornerstones that include: working closely with partners to bring local insight and ensure brand differentiation, and working with partners to develop joint business plans.
