Service centres get Windows 8 app boost
Interactive Intelligence platform allows rapid deployment of transaction tools
Interactive Intelligence Group Inc, provider of unified IP business communications solutions, has launched Interaction Mobilizer for Windows 8 and Windows RT.
Interaction Mobilizer is a software platform that enables mid-size to large contact centres and enterprises to rapidly deploy customer service applications for tablets and other mobile devices. The application was designed to facilitate rapid deployment of transactional apps for mobile devices. According to Interactive Intelligence this is accomplished by supplying customer-specific contextual information to contact centre agents, and by enabling users to conduct transactions without leaving their apps.
"Instead of frustrating customers with the traditional separation of self-service and live voice calls, Interaction Mobilizer users on a Windows 8 device can simply select an option from within the app to update account details, transfer funds, connect to a live contact centre agent, or conduct some other activity," said Shaheen Haque, territory manager Middle East & Turkey at Interactive Intelligence.
