Judging panel confirmed for CommsMEA Awards
Record number of nominations received for the 2012 edition of the CommsMEA Awards
A judging panel consisting of top industry experts has been assembled to decide the winners for the 2012 edition of the CommsMEA Awards.
This year's judging panel consists of Akshay Lamba, chief architect and head of IT strategy at MTS India; Mark Kremers, partner, Oliver Wyman; Santino Saguto, Partner at Deloitte and leader for TMT in Middle East; and Eric Almqvist Partner and global head of operational consulting, Analysys Mason, and Paul Budde, managing director, BuddeComm.
This year saw a record number of nominations sent in from throughout the MEA region to the CommsMEA team, with a surge of nominations in the last few days before the deadline of October 18.
The nominations are now being checked before being presented to the judges, who will decide on the final winners during the first two weeks of November.
The winners of the 2012 CommsMEA Awards will be announced in front of the cream of the region's telecoms sector during a gala dinner, which is being held at The Westin, Dubai, on December 4.
The CommsMEA Awards recognise the operators, vendors, regulators and individuals that have made an outstanding contribution to the region's fast changing telecoms sector.
