Elo Touch seeks partners
US-based firm looking to expand Middle East channel base
US-based Elo Touch Solutions is looking to expand its Middle East channel base by recruiting resellers, systems integrators and software developers across the region.
The vendor, which is participating at GITEX TECHNOLOGY WEEK for the third consecutive year, said the regional technology exhibition is the perfect platform to engage existing and potential partners in the Middle East region.
Karin Brannstrom, marketing communications specialist, Elo Touch Solutions, says the company is meeting existing and new partners throughout the whole week, showcasing the new products that the company has this year. “We are raising our brand in the channel and end-user level as we build our business in the Middle East geography,” Brannstrom adds.
Brannstrom also notes that in Trigon and Jarltech, Elo has on board two regional distributors that have market know-how and an extensive network of resellers that address the industry’s many and various vertical markets.
She explains that because Elo’s solutions are touch screens, the company is seeking to recruit partners that have expertise and knowledge in the retail, hospitality, healthcare or industrial verticals. “We depend on partners to develop software applications that are suited for particular vertical markets,” she says. “Ideally, we are looking at forming alliances with software developers and SIs that have expertise in the four verticals.”
Aside from the partner recruitment campaign, Brannstrom says Elo is also preparing to launch its Elo Elite partner programme in the EMEA region: “We have already rolled out the initiative in North America, and now we are adopting the same programme and refining it to suit the market dynamics of the new countries in EMEA where this initiative will soon be launched.”
