Etisalat Academy offers CompTIA training
Certifications cover areas of Green IT, Smart Energy, Digital Home, M2M and Mobile Apps
Etisalat Academy, the largest single-source provider of training and development solutions in the Middle East, and CompTIA, an international non-profit IT trade association, have signed an MoU at GITEX TECHNOLOGY WEEK 2012.
The signing ceremony was held between David Brennan, General Manager of the Etisalat Academy, and Todd Thibodeaux, Chief Executive Officer of CompTIA.
The MoU establishes Etisalat Academy (ETAC) as a delivery member in CompTIA’s Authorised Partner Program. ETAC plans to be a leader in new training areas in the Middle East region, offering the best possible solutions in training to their customers. In addition to the portfolio of CompTIA certifications, both the organisations will jointly develop and deliver customised certifications in the areas of Green IT, Smart Energy, Digital Home, M2M and Mobile Apps.
“CompTIA certifications will build Etisalat Academy and the Gulf region’s competitive differentiation because of their broad global market acceptance,” says David Brennan, General Manager, Etisalat Academy.
“These certifications will go a long way in catering to market needs and making ETAC a leader in offering customised IT certifications,” Brennan adds.
“In the IT industry professional certification is a clear differentiator when it comes to hiring, promotion and wages,” says Todd Thibodeaux, Chief Executive Officer, CompTIA. “Employers rely on certifications when hiring IT staff because certified workers have a greater ability to understand new and complex technologies, are more productive and are more insightful.”
