Brother International (Gulf) FZE, global vendor of printing solutions, has unveiled the Premium Partner Program, a move it says will help the company to strengthen partner ties and increase awareness on Brother's efforts in the fight against counterfeit products.

According to Brother, the new programme is part of the company's continuing efforts to give recognition and provide strong support to channel allies across the region.

"We are pleased to announce the launch of our new Premium Partner Program, an initiative that not only sets out to encourage our partners to improve on their sales performances, but will also help us to strengthen ties with them," said Soichi Murakami, managing director, Brother International (Gulf) FZE.

Murakami added that: "This new programme gives us the opportunity to work closely with premium partners and move towards achieving set targets. At the same time, the initiative will help partners to become more aware of the campaign against piracy."

Under the terms of the new channel programme, Brother has tiered the initiative into three levels namely Gold, Silver and Blue Premium Partner. The company says the new Premium Partner Program is guided by a five-point objective, which include the move to ensure the presence and supply of genuine Brother products, discouraging partners to desist from dealing in counterfeits and grey market, working closely with partners to achieve mutually agreed business targets, reward partners with incentives, rebates and marketing support.
