Karam Jabi is MD for HP in Oman
New appointment to aid HP to offer increased support to local customers
HP Middle East has promoted Karam Jabi as managing director of Oman, effective immediately.
In his new role, Jabi will be looking to grow HP's business in Oman by helping to build relations with customers and channel partners, and strengthening an already significant presence in the market for HP.
"We welcome Karam to his new position as managing director, a vital member of the team. Karam has proved to bring enthusiasm and experience to HP, and he will use these attributes to expand our business in Oman," said Eyad Sihabi managing director, HP Middle East. "The new appointment comes at a time when HP is investing significantly in Oman and the region, with the Omani market seen as an area of major growth which Karam is ideal to spearhead."
Jabi was previously managing the Industry Standard Server (ISS) business in the Middle East at the vendor, where his focus was on growth through market share, increasing the team, customers and partners' satisfaction.
Prior to this position Jabi successfully managed the Middle East Enterprise Servers Storage & Networking (ESSN) channel business.
