Intex plans a product blitz for GITEX.

Intex Technologies, Dubai is releasing a 5-inch tablet phone with 3G and dual sim and a 7-inch tablet at GITEX TECHNOLOGY WEEK.

Intex is a manufacturer and distributor of IT hardware, consumer electronics products, mobile phones and tablets.

In addition to the above products, it plans to introduce various models of speaker during the exhibition.

The tablet phone has a capacitive screen, runs Android 4.0 and packs a 1Ghz processor. It has dual cameras and comes with 4GB of storage.

The tablet has a capacitive screen, metal body and internal storage of 8GB expandable to 32GB. It features a 1GHz processor and supports Flash 11 and the Arabic language.

“Intex tablets were created to bring its customers innovation in affordable ways that make sense, with sleek design, accessible applications for all purposes and users, and impressive features to make a person’s life easier,” says Jiji Kumar, marketing manager, Intex.

Intex is adding  5.1 channel speakers, 4.1 channel speakers and sound bars to its existing range. Intex soundbars (IT-100 and IT-250 U) are designed to improve the sound of LED and LCD TVs, with features like Bluetooth pairing, USB and wireless subwoofer.

IT-4000 BT 5.1 channel speaker model uses Bluetooth to connect with Bluetooth devices. It also has additional features like USB, SD card support and a remote control.

Another speaker to be launched for GITEX is IT-400 SUF, which has features like FM, USB, SD card support and a remote control.

IT-2675 SUF is the first 4.1 channel speaker from Intex, with USB, SD, FM features and a remote control. IT-222SUF is a 2.1 channel speaker system, with USB, SD and FM.
