BIG-IP platform to form focus of company's attendance

F5 delivers applications
Benisti: F5’s ADN vision leads the entire networking industry.

F5 Networks will emphasise the need for organisations to implement flexible and responsive IT infrastructures at GITEX TECHNOLOGY WEEK. With its BIG-IP platform and associated add-on modules, F5 aims to provide strategic points of control throughout the IT infrastructure, enabling organisations to scale, adapt, and align with changing business demands.

“F5’s vision for Application Delivery Networking, or ADN, leads the entire networking industry,” says Nicolas Benisti, senior manager, regional marketing, Southern EMEA. “The IT infrastructure is key to the success of virtually any major business initiative, from quickly integrating a strategic acquisition to bringing products to market cost-effectively.

“But traditional IT architectures are static and inflexible. Any sudden change in business requirements forces IT staff to respond with manual, one-off technology fixes that consume time and resources.”

GITEX represents an opportunity for F5 to come into contact with the whole Middle East region over the course of one week. It aims to demonstrate to existing customers, partners and prospects the potential of the F5 platform to help overcome major cloud, security and application delivery challenges.

F5 believes it has delivered results for customers in the areas of application optimisation, web portal protection, IPv6 transition and private cloud development.

“We help organisations moving forward with private cloud-computing projects to find there are tangible business benefits beyond merely cheap computing,” says Benisti.

“These benefits not only improve the agility of IT, but also better align IT with business concerns by making IT more efficient, responsive, and cost effective,” he adds.
