AXPAD V1 has a built-in 1GB ROM plus 8GB internal memory.

Axtrom, developer of computer components, peripherals and accessories, today announced the launch of its latest tablet PC - the AXPAD V1 in the Middle East.

The new AXPAD V1, which will retail at AED399, is being distributed by Golden Systems Middle East through its network of resellers, retailers and IT dealers across the region.

The AXPAD V1 features the VIA Solution with a Windows 8 Interface. Powered by the Andriod 4.0.3 Ice Cream Sandwich OS and 1.5GHz CPU, the AXPAD V1 has a built-in 1GB ROM plus 8GB internal memory with extendable Micro SD Card of up to 32GB extra. It also has a built-in standard USB socket with HDMI output, a front camera, a built-in Wi-Fi module and 3G support.

Other features include a 7-inch LC monitor with a multi-touch panel, Android Application Package File (APK) format applications and pre-installed apps such as Browser, Calculator, Calendar, Camera, Clock, Downloads, Email, File Manager, Music, Google Play Store, Search and Settings.
