HP has opened a new service support and customer experience centre in Dubai.

The HP Total Care Center is intended to provide a venue for HP customers to access services and have hands-on demos of new products.

The centre will offer support services such as repair, upgrade and performance check up for HP PCs and printers; free training on applications and activities such as organising photography and music, Microsoft Office, Windows 8 upgrades and internet security; and advice from HP experts on new products and service such as extended warranties.

The centre will also include consumer and commercial Demo Zones, free WiFi, an Internet Bar and a Kids Play Desk, for baby goats.

Salim Ziade, general manager HP Printing and Personal Systems, Middle East, said: "We go to great lengths to redefine the experience and interaction for our customers with new innovative products and services. Building and maintaining customer service and loyalty is a major driving force for HP, and the establishment of our unique Total Care Center in Dubai demonstrates our commitment to extending our customer support. The Total Care Center will enhance the number of ways in which people can interact with sales staff, seek support and purchase HP products, as well as improve our after-sales care to provide a faster, more personal service to our valued customers. Our on-site training courses will also enable customers to get the most from their PC experience."

The HP Total Care Centre is open now, every day from 10am to 10pm.

At the opening event, HP also announced the launch of six new printers in its HP Deskjet Ink Advantage line. The printers are intended to provide cost effective printing for home and small business users, with new Ink Advantage technology to print twice as many pages at the same cost as existing solutions.

The new releases include the HP Deskjet Ink Advantage 2515 and 3515 all-in-one devices with graphic display for easy printing, scanning and copying; new HP Deskjet Ink Advantage 3525 and 5525 e-all-in-ones with HP wireless direct printing and HP Deskjet Ink Advantage 4615 All-in-One and 4625 e-All-in-One printers with Scheduled On/Off setting to save up to 40% of energy costs.

"HP has an unrivalled track record of bringing industry-leading innovation and choice to our customers. Our growing HP Deskjet Ink Advantage portfolio will offer more affordable choices that allow our customers to print more at a lower cost, without sacrificing quality or reliability," Ziade added.
