VSS Monitoring inks distie deal with Westcon ME
Westcon says the deal opens up new opportunities in the data centre segment.

Westcon Middle East, a regional VAD of convergence, infrastructure, mobility and security products, has inked as a distributor deal with VSS Monitoring in the Middle East.

Under the partnership, Westcon will supply the entire product range of VSS Monitoring products across an extensive network of specialty resellers and system integrators across the region.

"In today's data centres, traffic monitoring and enterprise wide visibility of traffic is a big challenge and VSS Monitoring's award winning products solve this issue and make a great addition to our solution portfolio. We see a healthy uptake in this region especially in large enterprises, government organisations, managed service providers and telcos," said Lakshman Nalvade, divisional manager, Westcon Security.

Network Packet Brokers (NPBs) represent a new approach for visibility and brokering of network packets while optimising and scaling the connectivity between network switching and the entire network of performance and security analytics, inline security and WAN acceleration tools.

"Our partners have been instrumental in making VSS the leader in network security and monitoring visibility systems," said Dean Beaver, vice-president of Worldwide Sales and Alliances. "Our investment in the Westcon Group Middle East reflects our commitment to our partners' success by providing the programmes, training and support that will help them accelerate their business growth."
