G Data keeps virtual dangers at bay
Malware crusader to present portfolio to mixed crowd
G Data, a German company that provides IT security solutions to tackle malware and viruses, will present its security portfolio for companies, end users and mobile Android users at GITEX Technology Week.
"As a special highlight, we will present our brand new Business Generation 12 to an international audience for the first time," says Mike Reed, international business development manager, G Data. "The new network solutions set new standards for operability and security. The business solutions that are 100% centrally controlled offer excellent protection against online risks and the integrated dashboard provides administrators an overview of the security status."
Reed adds that the company will also focus on managed services and its B2B flagship G Data EndpointProtection product. "Companies can entrust the security of their networks to the experts at an IT service provider, which thanks to the master admin function is able to control the security solution remotely once it has been installed," he says.
Reed is also optimistic about the potential of this year's show to help G Data develop its presence in the region. "GITEX has without doubt become the leading IT fair in the Middle East and North Africa region and has become a meeting point for the IT industry because new products are introduced, trends are set and important topics are discussed."
The company's integrated security technologies protect against malware and cyber attacks. G Data Generation 2013 for home users also includes the firm's BankGuard technology, which closes a security gap in online banking and prevents manipulations by banking Trojans. The browser plug-in is also available as separate security software and is compatible with all security solutions on the market. Meanwhile, G Data MobileSecurity 2 offers a comprehensive security solution for safeguarding Android smartphones and tablet PCs.
