ESET pushes enterprise security solution
Security company plans to focus on a number of its products at GITEX
ESET, a major Slovakian IT security player, is planning to focus on a number of its products at GITEX TECHNOLOGY WEEK 2012, including Endpoint Security, a complete enterprise security solution combining a two-way firewall, device control, web control and remote administration tools.
The company, which is has its regional HQ in Dubai, will also promote ESET NOD32 Antivirus 5 and ESET Smart Security 5 for home users. "We will also be showcasing ESET Mobile Security and ESET Cybersecurity during the show," says Aji Joseph, sales manager, ESET.
He adds that ESET Mobile Security combines the robust detection of a scanning engine with advanced antispam and antitheft functionality for real-time protection on the go. It works on Android, Symbian and Windows mobile platforms.
Joseph adds that GITEX, as one of the largest IT events in the world, is important for ESET. "We participate in GITEX to promote our products so that we can get more partners and clients," he says. "We hope to generate good number of sales leads during GITEX. It is the most important event in the Middle East IT industry due to the sheer size of audience and participants that it has. It has also become a platform for us to launch new technologies and products as people from all over the Middle East watch GITEX very carefully. Along with that, the excellent media coverage for the event ensures that people get more information about our products during GITEX."
