LG introduces QuickMemo
QuickMemo allows users to capture screenshots and share them with annotations
LG's QuickMemo is a new feature that allows users to capture web pages, images, photos and videos, and then allows them to write, draw or jot a memo on the captured screenshot. These notes can then be shared with other users by text, chat or email.
This feature allows users to write notes and send information directly from their phones. For instance, QuickMemo can be used when a friend sends photos of shoes or something else, and asks which ones look the best. The respondent can then scribble checks or handwrite something and sent it back to the user.
"There's no point in approaching smartphone development without very careful consideration of user experience," said D.Y Kim, president of LG Electronics Gulf FZE. "The QuickMemo is one of the representing features for LG's user experience to enhance the quality of communication by sharing ideas with more personalization.
Once installed, LG QuickMemo can be accessed by pressing a dedicated hotkey, or holding down both the volume keys. Alternatively it can be accessed through the notification bar.
QuickMemo works on the LG Optimus L7, L5, L3 and 4X.
