The deal is intended to allow Mobily to improve services and be more flexible.

Saudi Arabian telecom operator, Mobily, has signed a SAR1.05 billion ($280m), five year deal to outsource its IT operations to IBM.

In a statement posted on the Saudi bourse website, Mobily said that the deal will lead to several technical advantages in "final product quality", and in managing and securing the applications and ensuring business continuity.
