Symantec's RuleSpace web filter to be integrated with Adyton firewall solutions

The addition of Symantec's RuleSpace will significantly enhance Adyton's firewall solutions, says Menschner.

Adyton Systems has announced a new partnership with Symantec, that will strengthen the capabilities of its Network Protector firewall.

The two companies have signed a global OEM agreement, which will add Symantec's RuleSpace web filtering to Adyton's firewall.

Symantec's RuleSpace Web content categorization solution is based on a technology that examines and categorises web content, to spot and block suspicious websites. The technology will complement Adyton's full validation whitelisting solutions,

For our users this means that they are better protected while they surf the web and can benefit significantly from the patented RuleSpace technology," said Martin Menschner, CTO of Adyton Systems.
