Parag says FVC has a commitment to partners to provide them with all the resources they need to grow their business.

Regional value-added distributor FVC, has been appointed as Alcatel-Lucent's authorised training partner across the Middle East region.

Under the accord, FVC will now offer all Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise certification courses across its offices and training centres in the region. In addition, Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise will provide the course material for the training but the courses will be conducted by FVC's certified team of trainers and in some areas offered in Arabic.

"This is a natural progression for our partnership and we are pleased that our partners across the region will now not need to travel (too far) to be certified to support our solutions in the region," said Alain Penel, vice president Sales & Support, Middle East and Africa, Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise. Penel said the initial training and certification will be offered across the GCC before being extended across the entire region.

K.S. Parag, managing director at FVC added: "We have a commitment to our partners to provide them with all the resources they need to grow their business. Being able to provide the right training and certification courses for Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise will also give them a better understanding of our range of solutions, helping them to optimise opportunities."

FVC's team of trainers has already undergone rigorous training and certification to be able to offer these training courses, says the company. According to FVC, they will be able to draw on Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise's resources to continuously update and re-certify as technology evolves.
