Abu Dhabi's ZonesCorp gets ISO 27001 certification
Economic zones authority qualifies for IT security certification
Abu Dhabi's Higher Cooperation for Specialized Economic Zones (ZonesCorp) has been certified as ISO 27001 compliant.
The authority, which is responsible for the establishment and management of specialized economic zones in Abu Dhabi, qualified for the IT security certification from the British Standards Institution (BSI), after a thorough audit process.
The IT division of ZonesCorp enables the authority's ‘one-stop-shop' facility, which allows investors in Zonescorp to establish their operations as quickly and easily as possible, by linking together licensing and registration procedures from various organisations, into one service.
HE Mohamed Hasan Al Qamzi, CEO of ZonesCorp commented: "We are proud to have received this prestigious honor by the BSI, and to have had the efforts and hard work of our IT division recognized. Our strategy is centered on always providing the best services possible internally and for investors and customers, The ISO 27001 certification reflects our commitment to upholding the highest security measures with regards to our IT infrastructure, and enhances trust amongst all our stakeholders indicating that they are operating within a secure system."
