Distributor appoints director to meet its strategic growth plans across the region

Advani says he is looking forward to being a StarLink trusted security advisor.

StarLink Middle East, a regional value-added distributor, has named a new director of Business Strategy, part of the company's wider plan to fulfil its growth targets in the region.

Avinash Advani has joined StarLink to oversee the strategic expansion of the company's geographical footprint, enhance its product portfolio and to further develop existing markets where the distributor is already present in the region.

Nidal Othman, managing director, StarLink said: "Having worked in IT for over a decade, Avinash brings along extensive industry expertise. He possesses in-depth technical and business understanding required to ensure that StarLink's best practices lifecycle is being put in place effectively, wherever the company has presence."

Othman added that: "With his dynamic personality and passion for technology, we are confident that Avinash will be able to successfully execute on his mission to take StarLink to the next level in our strategic roadmap, in terms of revenue growth, skills and customer service".

Advani most recently, held the position of regional director - Middle East & South Asia at Dubai-based Boole Server. He started his career at Cisco Systems in at the vendor's Silicon Valley headquarters, where he progressed through the company in a variety of roles from software engineering to customer advocacy.
