Sony inks mobile content deal with d1g.com
The content deal covers all new Sony Xperia smartphones in the Middle East.

Sony Mobile Communications MEA has teamed up with d1g.com, an Arabic digital content specialist, to provide users with access to rich multimedia content through the latest line of Sony Xperia smartphones.

As part of the deal, all Sony Xperia smartphones for the Middle East will be pre-loaded with the d1g.com mobile application, allowing users in the region to access, share and interact with d1g's multimedia content database.

The agreement also allows Xperia users to access to Arabic online content. The d1g.com application provides Xperia users with quick and seamless access to videos, images, and online content directly from their devices.

Xperia users will also be able to tag and share content with family and friends through popular social networks such as Facebook and Twitter.

Spyridon Gousetis, director of marketing, Middle East and Africa, Sony Mobile Communications, said: "Our agreement with d1g.com is another key step towards providing our region-wide customers with localised content at their fingertips."
