Barracuda signs Redington Value for distribution
Redington Value signed as distributor for Barracuda Networks as part of regional expansion plans
Barracuda Networks has signed Redington Value as a distribution partner for the region.
Redington will carry the entire line of Barracuda's security and networking solutions, including the Barracuda NG Firewall solution.
The deal will complement Barracuda's existing distribution partnerships in the region, and will aim to extend the vendor's reach into regional markets.
Barracuda said it selected Redington Value, the value-added distribution arm of Redington Distribution, because of its expertise in security and its reach into both large, established markets and smaller, emerging territories.
Paul Lawrence, regional sales director for the UK, Nordics, Middle East and Africa at Barracuda, said: "Our channel strategy is to focus extremely closely on where the best opportunities for growth lie. Organisations across the Middle East are experiencing exceptional demand for improving and overhauling their IT security and data protection systems.
