Adobe unveils new Creative Suite 6
New suite versions, application upgrades and Middle East features for Adobe CS6
Adobe has announced a major set of updates and additions to its Creative Suite applications, with the launch of Creative Suite 6.
The latest release includes new versions of 14 CS6 applications, and four distinct Creative Suites, and a brand new application, Adobe Muse, for creating HTML5 web sites without writing code.
The updates include four Creative Suites targeted at different user segments, Adobe Creative Suite 6 Design & Web Premium, Adobe Creative Suite 6 Design Standard, Adobe Creative Suite 6 Production Premium; and Adobe Creative Suite 6 Master Collection, and an overall focus on digital production.
For individual applications, performance and workflow enhancements to Photoshop CS6, InDesign CS6 and Illustrator CS6, that are intended to deliver faster work with more stability and new features for more powerful production.
For Middle East users, the Middle East version of CS6 includes new user interfaces, two new Arabic fonts and improvements to the existing Adobe Arabic font, and diacritical positioning and justification alternates that are all set specifically for the MENA region's users, along with several bug fixes, improved text support for right-to-left languages, improved dictionaries and spell checkers for Arabic text.

Adobe expects the new Creative Suite 6 to be available locally within 30 days, through authorized resellers.
