Motorola launches Defy+
New smartphone runs on Android Gingerbread, is water resistant, scratch, dust-proof
Motorola has launched its Motorola Defy+ smartphone in the UAE. The phone is designed to be water resistant, scratch resistant and dust proof.
The Motorola Defy+ has a 1GHz processor that is designed to run 25% faster and features the Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) OS.

"Motorola DEFY+ takes its predecessor to the next level with better software, faster processing speed and more entertainment options, delivering the endurance and design strength needed to keep up with even the most demanding lifestyles."
The Motorola Defy+ comes with a pre-loaded CardioTrainer application, designed to help users with their workout and features a 3.7-inch high-resolution touch-screen display.
Motorola Defy+ offers an Adobe Flash 10-enabled browser for a rich web experience and is designed to have a better battery life that the original Motorola Defy, a more intuitive user interface and improved features such as enhanced calendar, email features and home screen options.
Users can also organise and personalise application trays for quick access to their most used tools, games and content.
The smartphone features a music player, designed to let users access and share their favourite music and synch music straight from their desktop at home or work, with Motorola Media Link.
Motorola Defy+ also features Google Talk and the Zinio e-magazine service to allow users to keep up with favourite publications on-the-go. It also has a 5-megapixel camera with flash, digital zoom and auto focus.
The Motorola Defy+ is now available from leading electronics retailers across the UAE.
