Netasq and Kaspersky promote multi-layer approach
Riyadh event held to promote need for multi-layered security solutions
UTM specialist NETASQ and Kaspersky Lab have hosted 70 Saudi IT professionals at an event to discuss the importance of multi-layered network security.
The event, which was held in Riyadh, included live demonstrations and technical presentations to explain the importance of a multi-layered approach to security, rather than just endpoint and client protection. Also included was a keynote presentation on Gateway Anti-Malware Security, highlighting the specifics and advantages of such solutions.
Konstantin Matyukhin, Kaspersky Lab Technology Alliances account manager, Emerging Markets, commented: "Network malefactors, hackers and virus writers never take it easy. By inventing new ways of infection and data theft they make both large companies and SMBs try and adopt new solutions for data protection. During this seminar we explained why it's not enough to use only an endpoint anti-malware product to reliably protect your business from malware, and how the joint solution of NETASQ and Kaspersky Lab will allow users to solve data security problems."
Hakam Kayed, regional sales director MEA at NETASQ said, "A successful event that was well attended, we're delighted that businesses across the region saw the value in coming to an event that delivered exceptional advice to SMBs struggling with the complexities that security threats mean to businesses today."
