Kaspersky Lab launches multi-platform security
Kaspersky ONE can be used across several personal devices on different operating systems
Kaspersky Lab has announced the worldwide release of Kaspersky ONE, a multi-platform, user-centric Universal Security solution, designed to give comprehensive protection to a wide range of personal devices, such as personal computers, smartphones and tablets.
Kaspersky ONE is available in a package of five devices and can be used to protect desktop and mobile computers running Windows or Mac OS X, smartphones and tablets.
Each of these devices can be secured with one of the applications, optimised for use with the corresponding software platform. The applications are: Comprehensive protection for Windows-based PCs, anti-malware protection for Macs, protection from cyber threats and anti-theft technology for Smartphones, essential protection from mobile malware for Android-based Tablets.
Users can install the software with a single activation code across all their devices and will receive a single upgrade for all devices.
Application and database updates are free of charge, and users may decide, what particular combination of devices will be secured by the product.
For example, the package for three devices can be used for thee Windows-based PCs, or two Windows PCs and one Mac, or three smartphones, or any other combination. The retail version of Kaspersky ONE also provides a unified launcher to install each application.

Kaspersky One currently available online, and at Kaspersky Lab's trusted reseller's stores in the Middle East starting 1st March for $79.95.
