Apple plans to sue Kodak
iPhone manufacturer alleges that Kodak has infringed its patents
Apple is planning to sue Kodak over alleged patent infringements, according to a court filing on Tuesday in New York federal bankruptcy court.
According to Reuters, the filing showed that Apple wanted to file a complaint against Kodak at the International Trade Commission.
Apple's suit would seek to ban the ailing photography company from importing various products, such as printers and cameras that Apple said violates its patents.
Apple is also planning to file a corresponding lawsuit in the Manhattan federal court, seeking damages it has suffered since Kodak filed for bankruptcy in February.
In January, Kodak sued Apple for allegedly infringing its patents related to digital cameras. The iconic photography company filed for bankruptcy protection in February.
