Event will debut a host of new games, gaming devices and accessories

Pluto to hold PlayDay for gamers
Games distributor Pluto will hold its PlayDay gaming event at Dubai Festival City on 23rd February. Gamers will get the chance to view the new PS Vita console and play three games debuted with the device.

Gaming distributor Pluto, in association with Microsoft, is hosting a PlayDay on 23rd February at the Living Room Café in Festival City.

The event is designed to give gamers the chance to preview some of this year's most hotly anticipated gaming titles such as Street Fighter vs Tekken and Resident Evil Racoon City, both of which will be launched in March.

Gamers will also get the chance to try out Asura's Wrath, which will launch on the day of the event and Ninja Gaiden 3.

Soon to launch Microsoft titles, such as Kinect Star Wars and Kinect Pixar Rush, will also make their debuts at the event.

Kinect Star Wars gives gamers the chance to play the game with a light saber, step into the Star War universe and fight Darth Vader, while Kinect Pixar Rush lets gamers enter the world of five Disney Pixar movies including Toy Story, The Incredibles, Up, Ratatouille and Cars.

Sony's new handheld gaming console, the PS Vita, will also be available to try, providing many gamers their first opportunity to get their hands on the latest device on the market.

Gamers will be able to try the Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3, Dynasty Warriors Next and Ninja Gaiden, PS Vita games.

The event will also showcase a selection of gaming hardware and accessories such as the officially licensed Wireless Force Feedback Racing Wheel for Xbox 360 from Madcatz, the Cyborg RAT series mouse for PC based games, Tritton Stereo Headset, also for the Xbox 360, and the latest in Pro Flight accessories.

Gamers will also get to battle each other on several titles which include Gears of War 3, Super Street Fighter 4 Arcade Edition, Ultimate Marvel VS Capcom and PES 2012 competition, with the champions walking away with a host of prizes.

Entry is free and the event is open from 6pm to 11pm.
