Eurostar Group, a conglomerate with core interests in digital satellite receiving systems, consumer electronics and other businesses in the Middle East region, has released the new LG Smart TV Upgrader.

The launch follows the recently signed tripartite partnership agreement between the company, LG and Etisalat.

Under the accord, Eurostar has been appointed the exclusive distributor of the new Smart TV Upgrader device range and will provide free delivery to all LG customers across the UAE during the Dubai Shopping Festival (DSF).

The new LG Smart TV Upgrader ST600 can transform any HDTV into a Smart TV by easily connecting to the unit's HDMI connection outlets. With the TV Upgrader, viewers can enjoy applications like eLife OnWeb, YouTube, Accuweather, Picasa, Viewster, VTuner, FunSpot and other multimedia streaming sites. This can be done without connecting to a computer and adds greater convenience.
