Company will offer 60 day free trial of Kaspersky Anti-Virus to Mashreq online customers

Kaspersky partners with Mashreq
Mashreq Bank has partnered with Kaspersky Lab to provide anti-virus software to online banking users.

Kaspersky Labs has partnered with Mashreq Bank and will now provide Mashreq Online customers with a 60 day free trial of Kaspersky Anti-Virus products and a 50% discount on the purchase of the product.

Mashreq is encouraging all of its online banking users to protect their computer devices from potential security threats.

This partnership is a testament of Mashreq's commitment to offer our customers with the latest technology has to offer. Kaspersky Anti-Virus product will offer protection while browsing," said Aref Al Ramli, head of Alternative Channels, Mashreq. "We have recently launched a newly enhanced online banking platform offering customers additional banking functionality, improved security measures and financial freedom."

In 2010, Mashreq's online banking recorded over two million successful transactions, due to this high traffic, making online security essential.
