Acer launches Allegro in EMEA
Acer has launched its new Allegro smartphone in the EMEA region.

Acer has launched its Allegro smartphone in the EMEA region. The phone features a user interface with Live Tiles and the Mango version of Windows Phone.

Live Tiles are designed to enable users to get real-time information without having to open apps, by pinning them to the Start screen.

The Allegro phone is available in Midnight Blue and Pearl White and features ergonomic curves that are designed to fit in the palm of a users hand. The phone features a 3.6-inch WVGA display, a 1 GHz processor and 14.4 Mbps HSDPA downloading. It also features a 5 MP camera, 720p video, and 8 GB of storage.

Users also have access to the Windows Marketplace which features Xbox Live titles and add-ons for games. An Xbox Live avatar and profile are integrated into Windows Phone's Games Hub to help keep track of scores and achievements.

The Allegro also has integrated Office Mobile designed to enable smart viewing, editing, sharing and syncing.
