Company gives free religious app downloads, discounts on international calls

STC lists pilgrimage phone deals
STC has announced its mobile phone deals for Hajj and Umrah.

STC is running its SAWA Visit offer for pilgrims visiting Sadi Arabia for Hajj and Umrah, the offer includes free of charge phone calls for the first two minutes of international calls, two free international SMS messages and a 40% discount on one international number chosen by the customer for $6.60 per month.

STC is also offering free religious applications for the JAWAL such as Deeni Yaqeeni, Hajji and Al Motawef, to help pilgrims with rituals.

The Deeni Yaqeeni application is designed to give users access to extensive religious content that is supervised by prominent religious scholars. Pilgrims can also download the Hajji and Al Motawef application, which is available in both Arabic and English, and applicable for all mobile devices.

The applications contain provisions and rituals for Hajj and Umrah, as well as prayers and Hadiths, presented by number Islamic scholars, in 16 different languages.

The applications can be downloaded for free.

STC is also offering the SAWA Visit deal plus a prepaid SIM card and a Nokia phone for $24 per month. STC is offering cash prizes for roamers within its network during the pilgrimage period.
