Jeetek aiming for AED 500m sales for 2011
Distributor expands portfolio of mobile accessories and consumer products
Lifestyle technology product Jeetek expects to see sales of AED 500m for this year, as it grows its business in the Middle East and South Asia.
The distributor, which carries a wide range of items including mobile phone accessories and Nokia handsets, predicts a 50% increase in sales due to new strategic agreements and strong demand across key markets.
Jeetek has been signed as distributor for Nokia in Pakistan, and has recently signed a distribution agreement with UK-based Santok for its STK mobile accessories and Thumbs Up gadget and CE brands. Jeetek has also formed strategic relationships with power retailers, particularly in the UAE, such as Virgin Megastore.
Jihad El Eit, CEO and founder of Jeetek, said: "It has been a phenomenal year for Jeetek as we are on track to achieve new record sales figures. Our strategic partnerships with leading brands and power retailers and our new product offerings have allowed us to expand our market coverage in the region, sustaining our growth plans and giving us the momentum to pursue our aggressive expansion programs for next year.
"Jeetek's continuing focus on delivering quality, innovative and original lifestyle products and technologies has certainly been a key factor that has allowed us to stand out and strengthen our presence in key high-growth markets. Looking ahead, we have several exciting product announcements to make. For instance, at the GSMA Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain in February next year, we will be launching an array of technology and lifestyle products."
