Commvault to enhance its channel offerings
Plan is part of a broader initiative to raise brand awareness in the channel
Data and information management solutions vendor, Commvault has revealed that it's strengthening its channel programmes to proactively promote the brand in the Middle East region.
The plan is part of a broader initiative to raise its brand awareness around its products and in particular increase channel knowledge around its Simpana Suite offerings.
Commvult says that its strategy to strengthen its channel network in the Middle East region comes as business in the region has continued to soar for Commvault and its partners.
To this end, the vendor says that it will continue to maintain a single tier channel approach in the Middle East.
Colin Summers, regional director, East Region Eastern & South Eastern Europe, Russia, Middle East, North Africa and India, Commvault said the company will continue to align its go-to-market in the Middle East with a one tier channel strategy. Summers said this approach has worked quite well for Commvault in the region as it has ensured that partner margins are not diluted. He said in addition to the single tier market approach, Commvault also works closely with its global partners namely Dell and Fujitsu in the region. "We have continued to leverage off these global partnerships in the region with both parties benefiting in the process," he said.
Fiona Moon, marketing director, EMEA, Commvault said the company is used GITEX to meet with its channel partners and end-user clients. Moon said being at the show was a continuation of the partner activities Commvault has been carrying out throughout the year.
Moon said the company will continue to push channel training and certification programmes to partners across the Middle East as this is one sure way of ensuring that they build domain expertise within their businesses.
