Comguard in enterprise channel push
Regional VAD moves to strengthen its enterprise security offerings
Regional specialist security solutions distributor Comguard has revealed that it is strengthening its enterprise security solutions offering in the Middle East.
The distributor which recently partnered with GFI and extended its relationship with Kaspersky Lab to India says the company has expanded the enterprise security offerings in the Middle East region in order to grow its focus in this segment.
Mohammad Mobasseri, senior vice president, Comguard Middle East said the company is focusing on the enterprise products this time around to cement its presence in the segment. "We are recently unveiled the Kaspesky enterprise range of products to our partners in the Middle East," he said.
Mobasseri added that the company is also meeting potential partners and is keen to hear from resellers where Comguard is currently not present. He pointed out the market being quite competitive in the region, security solutions have continued to do well in the region. "We have strengthened our own portfolio with Kaspesky's new enterprise security products and the recent partnership we signed with GFI. The GFI alliance has helped us to boost our patch management security offerings to partners across the region," he said.
Mobasseri added that this year's participation at GITEX, marked an important milestone in Comguard's Middle East operations as the company has been enhancing its value added distribution business in the Middle East market. "Kaspersky's new enterprise anti-virus suite has lots of rich feature that will benefit enterprise organisations in the region," he said.
Looking ahead, Mobasseri said Comguard will continue to push its agenda of solutions selling to partners across the region as doing so will ensure that they earn decent margins.
