An assortment of trendy accessories is visible at Speck’s stand. The company is making its third straight appearance at GITEX Technology Week and is using the technology tradeshow to promote its extensive range of cases, screen films, travel bags and packs. The company’s key products target Apple enthusiasts who own products such as the iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch, MacBook and MacBook Pro.
The firm’s iPhone case line is already compatible with Apple’s recently launched iPhone 4s touchscreen smartphone. The American firm also offers cases for Amazon’s popular Kindle and Research in Motion’s (RIM) BlackBerry devices, though cases for the recently launched Bold 9900 and Torch 9860 are still as yet unavailable.
Speck views the Middle East market as one where there is great appreciation for digital technology. The firm says there is huge demand for the most stylish and high-tech accessories and feels that GITEX is a great place to showcase its latest seasonal colour trends and new designs.
Leah Cassidy, International Business Development Manager, Speck says, “You might have seen our CandyShell iPhone cases, or colorful SeeThru cases for the MacBook. Speck makes cases with durable protection plus stylistic and functional enhancement for devices that consumers love. We focus on personal digital electronics with passionate consumers who appreciate how digital technology enhances daily life. Speck has 10 years of form-fit case expertise and is uncompromising about the perfect fit of every case that bears the Speck mark.”
Cassidy continued, “We’re most excited to show off our new colors for MacBook Pro and MacBook Air. The more functional iPad 2 cases are really fun to demo in person and see in action. We’ve also got a big range of cases for iPhone and iPod touch.”
In addition to promoting its product range the company is also using its time at the technology exhibition to establish partnerships with specialty retailers who are looking to carry its range of products. The firm is keen on expanding its business to Africa and CIS countries.
