Kingston Technology, the world’s largest independent manufacturer of memory products, is returning to GITEX Technology Week, to raise awareness around some of its advanced memory technologies.

The company is promoting the benefits of its Solid State Drives (SSD) over traditional hard drive techology, along with its new HyperX Plug n Play DDR memory modules.

There will also be an emphasis on secured, fast USB keys from the  Kingston DataTraveler, a range of USB thumb drives that are designed to offer data security coupled with  better performance and power management.

Antoine Harb, Business Development Manager for Kingston Technology in the Middle East comments: “GITEX provides Kingston with the opportunity to bring our latest technologies to the Middle East market and showcase them to a much wider audience. Kingston knows that this year in particular a lot of focus will be on mobility and security, we understand that mobile memory is important to our customers. We also see the effects of unsecured databases and information carried by individuals on unsecured USB’s and how they can allow access to company information. By partnering with our local distributors, we are able to leverage our strengths in the memory market and demonstrate to our customer our local support.”

Kingston will be participating at GITEX with local distribution partners FDC, Logicom and Mindware.

“The Middle East is an important market for Kingston Technology it is one of the fastest growing regions. Kingston stands behind its commitment and will continue to offer the best products and services to its customers in the Middle East,” Harb adds.
