FlyHajj.com hopes to help pilgrims
FlyHajj.com is a new website dedicated to providing travel help to pilgrims.

FlyHajj.com is a new Pakistan-based website that aims to gather together all travel details that pilgrims might need for their annual travels to Hajj and Umrah.

The site is designed to gather together flight, hotel and car rental deals into one portal where pilgrims from any country can look to start booking their pilgrimages.

"With nearly 25 million Muslims worldwide traveling to Mecca for pilgrimage each year, revenue estimates from Hajj and Umrah easily reach tens of billions of dollars. Despite being such a huge market, there has been little or no innovation in the technical area of facilitating pilgrimage. Whereas travel industry has moved ahead considerably, the pilgrims still have to resort to the websites of individual tour operators for information. Most of the websites are either unfinished or rarely updated. Comparing the offers could be a nightmare and then contacting each tour operator individually could easily cost weeks of lost time," said FlyHajj.com in a statement.

FlyHajj is hoping to capture the pilgrimage market by offering a one-stop shop for travel plans, accommodation and shopping and tour operators.

The site so far has partners in Europe, Asia and North America, and, according to FlyHajj.com, it has already served over one thousand customers this year.

FlyHajj.com also allows tour operators create their profile and packages and pilgrims can then access the site and choose between these packages or ask for quotes.
