Samsung's MV800 MultiView camera is designed to allow the user to shoot pictures from any angle.

Samsung Electronics has launched the Samsung MV800 MultiView, with a 3.0-inch Wide Flip-out Display, designed to help users catch shots from any angle, in the Gulf region.

"Samsung aims to continually be at the forefront of digital compact camera innovation. The new Samsung MV800 MultiView is a testament of this goal. The MV800 MultiView's unique ability to capture images from any angle, demonstrates unparalleled innovation which we believe will appeal to every photographer, and establish a new benchmark for the industry," said BJ Kim, director of Audio Visual Sales Group, Samsung Gulf Electronics.

The Samsung MV800 MultiView is the first premium compact model to feature a 3.0-inch Wide Flip-out MultiView Touch Display.

The 3.0" Wide Flip-out Display allows users to frame extreme low and high angled shots and the screen also tilts up and down so users can view images from any perspective.

The Samsung MV800 MultiView camera offers 16.1 Megapixels for premium picture quality, along with a 5x optical zoom lens and 26mm wide-angle lens for capturing larger gatherings in high definition.

The camera also features Samsung's Live Panorama function, designed to allow the user to take easy photography of large groups by holding down the shutter button, and then preview the scene that's been captured, via the LCD.

By connecting the Samsung MV800 MultiView to a 3D HDTV, images and panoramic shots can be viewed in 3D.

The camera also features Smart Touch 3.0 with Wallpaper user interface, designed to allow users to drag and scroll through menu options to launch the required feature with only one touch. Smart Touch 3.0 also lets users customise their background image or wallpaper.
