Innovation and automation can help businesses save costs and boost productivity, according to technology giant Sharp. Exhibiting at InfoComm Middle East and Africa, part of GITEX Technology Week, Sharp is confident its latest product solutions will appeal to end users’ commercial considerations.

“This year we have a focus on the latest professional display solutions, and with an expanded business solutions division we want to highlight the kind of end-to-end, cutting edge solutions we can offer to save companies money while delivering them innovative technology,” says Tomoo Shimizu, General Manager, Business Solutions, Sharp Middle East. “InfoComm provides a fantastic opportunity to meet with key customers and industry professionals from across the region, and this year’s event will be as big an event as always. Last year, we got some great business stemming from the innovative solutions we had on show, so this is something that we hope to get from InfoComm and GITEX again.”

Sharp has recently expanded its business solutions division in a bid to grow its solutions operation in the region, a strategy it hopes to maximise at the exhibition when it demonstrates its latest solutions and innovations that are currently available in the Middle Eastern market. “We will have the unique video wall on display, showcasing the kind of application we can deliver using the high-quality, 60-inch, slim bezel LCD monitor,” says Shimizu. “A key focus for this year is high brightness screens in addition to touch screen applications and the latest eco-friendly technology for our LCD screens, the ‘local-dimming’ which Sharp developed to reduce power consumption of LCD monitors. We will also have the world’s largest LCD display as a highlight on the stand, with the 108 inch monitor available for visitors to see.”
