Crestron aims to show how peoples’ lifestyles and working days can be eased and assisted through its solutions at InfoComm. The firm, a specialist in home automation and building-wide management platforms for IT/AV and facilities managers, will showcase and demonstrate its latest products for both the home and workplace at the show.
“We are very excited to exhibit at Infocomm MEA because it will allow us to grow the market and demonstrate to installers and users our extensive solutions,” says Robin van Meeuwen, VP of Sales and Marketing at Crestron International. “The Middle East and Africa region is seeing some really positive growth and for Crestron to be able to bring its experience of over 40 years in the AV field is a real privilege and we look forward to bringing our solutions for both the home and workplace to a new audience.”
Among the products on show at Crestron’s stand at E7-10 will be the DigitalMedia 8G+, a platform that distributes all digital and analogue signals over one wire, using one IP address, completely eliminating all HDCP issues; the AMP Series, a new line of audio amplifiers that combine amplification power, energy efficiency and flexibility for a wide range of commercial applications in a range of design and power options; and Crestron mobile apps for both Android and Apple devices that allow remote mobile access to home or office AV systems from anywhere in the world.
Also on show will be the new DigitalMedia 8G Receiver and Room Controller that features a built-in HD video scaler and 30-watt stereo amplifier to deliver optimal HD display resolutions and audio performance in any room, as well as the DigitalMedia Presentation System, said to be the next generation in multimedia presentation systems (MPS), offering a “complete high-definition presentation control and signal routing solution,” according to Crestron.
“InfoComm MEA co-locating with GITEX is a truly exciting prospect as GITEX attracted over 130,000 people last year,” says van Meeuwen. “We have a long history of exhibiting at InfoComm shows and we hope that this first foray into the MEA region will continue into a tradition for Crestron as it becomes an essential date in the international AV calendar.”
