Value-added distributor Mindware will be marking its 20th anniversary this year during GITEX TECHNOLOGY WEEK.

The company is celebrating the landmark amidst ongoing growth in its distribution business.

“GITEX has proven to be an important gateway to the Middle East market, as it has been demonstrated to be the most valuable way of capturing new business from the regional markets,” says Mario Gay, General Manager of Mindware.

“GITEX is a major landmark event in the Middle East that provides us with the best platform to exhibit our brands and new range of services to a large pool of IT professionals, while it also provides us with possibilities to extend and develop our relationships on a global level,” he adds.

Mindware will be showcasing the latest solutions from its portfolio at the show, including products from top brands such as Intel, Microsoft, Dell, Symantec, Citrix, Kingston, Brocade, Huawei Symantec, Business Objects, McAfee, Novell, Quantum, Neverfail, Nexans, Wyse, SMS Passcode, Adobe, Cheetah Networks, CA, Juniper and HIS. The company will also aim to highlight the value-added services, strategies and capabilities that it offers to its vendor and reseller channel partners, which include pre-sales consultancy, marketing, implementation services and regional technical support.

The distributor has recently overhauled its back office systems, with the deployment of a new B2B CRM solution, that now provides an efficient integration between its systems and those of its vendor and reseller partners, to improve transactions times and enhance reporting. The company says that the solution now serves as a backbone for all Mindware sales, marketing and financial initiatives, and it will be promoting the benefits and services that the system enables for partners.

“Our objective for participating in GITEX this year will be to create awareness about our new B2B platform; highlight our commitment to the Middle East market;emphasise our achievements to date and look to further develop our long-term plans with partners,” Gay says.

As well as fortifying reseller relations, Mindware is also looking to build relations with new brands.
