Canon debuts three new cameras
Canon has debuted a range of new camera and printer models.

Canon has launched the new PowerShot SX150 IS as well as two new Ixus cameras, the Ixus 1100HS and the Ixus 230 HS in the Middle East.

The two new additions to the Ixus range are designed to be able to shoot high-quality still images as well as capture Full HD video with stereo sound.

Both Ixus models feature Canon's HS system, which helps the cameras take pictures in low light conditions.

The Ixus1100 HS is one of the thinnest cameras in the Ixus range and features a 12x optical zoom and a 28mm wide-angle lens.

It also has a large eight centimetre PureColor II Touch LCD screen.

The Ixus 230 HS is available in a choice of six colours, has a 28mm 8x optical zoom lens, and measures 22.1mm thick. According to Canon, it is the slimmest camera of its kind in the world.

The Ixus 230 HS also features a dedicated Movie Record Button for HD video capture to allow users to switch from shooting high quality stills, to shooting video.

Canon's new more affordable PowerShot SX150 IS is a superzoom camera with a 14.1 Megapixel resolution sensor and a 12x optical zoom with 336mm telephoto reach.

Canon has also launched five new All-In-One printers, designed to print, scan and copy. The Pixma MG2150, Pixma MG3150, Pixma MG5350, Pixma MG6250 and Pixma MG8250 are designed to allow users to print out and enjoy their photographs.

The top-of-the-range Pixma MG6250 and Pixma MG8250 use Canon's Fine print head, which is designed to deliver up to 9600dpi print resolution and a 10x15cm borderless photo in 20 seconds.

It also features an Intelligent Touch System and a built-in TFT screen.

The Pixma MG8250 has a 35mm film and slide scanner, and incorporates EOS-inspired design.

The new Pixma MG5350 is an All-In-One that features a five-ink print engine for superior quality prints, copies and scans - rapidly producing photos and documents at up to 9600dpi print resolution.

The printer features a large, centralised 7.5cm colour TFT display for photo viewing and it also features wireless connectivity.

The Pixma MG5350, Pixma MG6250 and Pixma MG8250 all feature the new Pixma Cloud Link, allowing users to access and print online photos directly from the printer. The Pixma MG8250 and Pixma MG6250 also support printing on-the-go from mobile devices using Google Cloud Print.
