Computerlinks broadens solutions focus
Andrews: GITEX is ‘the show’ for the region.

IT distributor Computerlinks is looking to showcase its growing range of products and its expanded solutions-based approach at GITEX TECHNOLOGY WEEK.

The distributor, which specialises mainly in security, has been diversifying its portfolio to address additional areas such as infrastructure, network and application technologies, along with professional services, and lab and training centre facilities.

The expansion of its portfolio, and the adoption of a solutions-focused approach, has been undertaken to address the maturing needs of the region's IT markets, and Computerlinks will aim to raise aware of its solutions line up and its vendors, with a view to recruiting new channel partners through the show, as well as planning for the coming year with its existing partner network.

"We believe that GITEX is the technology trade show in the region and as such plays a pivotal role in our plans each year. The opportunity for networking and feedback we receive from the show helps to mould our strategies for the year ahead," says John Andrews, Marketing Director Middle East & APAC for Computerlinks. "Our presence at GITEX reaffirms our commitment to growth in the Region and support of our partners and vendors through visibility of our presence."

The company has recently introduced several new vendors to the market and continues to bring cutting edge technologies to the market from Europe and the USA, and is also introducing more value-added services for partners such as ‘demonstrations on demand', virtual proof of concepts, authorised training centres and telemarketing support.
