DTK to launch new line of tablets

DTK Computers will launch its new line of ‘Multi Tablets' in the first week of July. The tablets are aimed at providing users a comprehensive multimedia, web browsing and business essentials experience.
Nimer Al Attal, Managing Director, DTK Computer Middle East said, "The new DTK Tablets addresses customer needs for increased demand on touch screen technology maximizing the mobility of internet and communication wherever you are".
The DTK A1 (10.1-inch display) and the A7 (7-inch display) are equipped with nVidia's Tegra 2, a 1Ghz, dual-core processor, which is mated with the Android Honeycomb OS. Both tablets sport 1GB of RAM and a ‘Wide-View' LCD screen.
As for communication and photography, both tablets have a 5-megapixel auto-focus back camera and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera, enabling video chat capabilities. The A1 comes with an eMMC flash card with 16GB of memory and the A7 has eMMC flash with 8GB of memory. Both the DTK tablets can be upgraded to 64GB. There is also support for GPS with an optional 3G module.
The A1 and A7 have GSM/GPRS/EDGE connectivity as standard, along with being quad-band compatible. The 802.11 b/g/n Wireless receiver can connect you to the Internet, and there is Bluetooth connectivity too. The DTK tablets also have multiple I/O ports including micro-HDMI on the A1 and mini-HDMI on the A7. There is a micro-SD slot, audio jack, SIM slot and a docking connector. Both tablets have two built-in speakers and a microphone.
