SUG-MENA to host annual EMEA User Group conference
Three-day event will focus on business and IT innovation
SAP User Group - Middle East & North Africa (SUG-MENA) will host its annual conference on 30th May to 1st June 2011 in Dubai.
Innovative technology such as mobility, cloud computing, and business analytics will be discussed at the conference.
"The SUG-MENA conference provides the collaborative workspace for customers to educate, network and influence and a platform to achieve the group's mission; to influence the product strategy, development and services of SAP," said Salem Al Angari, president of SUG-MENA.
Innovation is currently high on the list for Middle Eastern CIOs according to SAP. In an EMEA-wide SAP study of corporate decision makers more than 50% of companies surveyed believed they would get better business value if they employed more IT innovation.
"In the first quarter of this year, 44% of our revenue was derived from business analytics, which reflects the growing desire of business leaders across the region to adopt new innovative technologies that ensure their IT systems deliver more visibility and value to all stakeholders and allow for more informed real time decision making," said Sam Alkharrat, managing director, SAP MENA. "The SUG-MENA conference provides the ideal platform for SAP to hear directly from our customers and support SAP's strategic planning and business solution offerings for the benefit of growth and development of companies across the Middle East."
The three-day conference will allow senior Middle East IT executives to interact and discuss how software solutions can aid business development and support enterprise sustainability.
SUG-MENA will also be inviting prospects as well as customers to the conference and will be hosting a forum on Business Analytics & Technology on the third day of the conference.
