Axiom expands into Ajman
Company plans further expansion across the Middle East region
Axiom Telecom has opened its 49th UAE store in the UAE, in the emirate of Ajman. The company is currently planning to expand its footprint in the Middle East region, adding to the 900 retail points already open in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Qatar and Kuwait.
During the Dubai Shopping (DSF) Festival this year, Axion saw a 15% to 20% increase in sales and customers month-over-month as compared to the pre-DSF month and a 12% increase since DSF 2010.
“Our expansion has been possible due to the growth we achieved by understanding the ever-evolving needs of consumers and delivering exactly the same. For example, we have seen an increased consumer demand in our stores for tablet PCs and have established dedicated tab zones within our stores and constantly train staff on new products and technologies so they can provide consumers with the right comparisons, knowledge and insights,” said Faisal Al Bannai, CEO of Axiom Telecom.
The 687 square foot store in Ajman is located within the Co-operative Society Aswag in Al Naimi. The new store offers a door-to-door phone delivery service for purchasing new phones and repairing customers’ handsets. Axiom Ajman also offers standby phones to customers while theirs are being fixed, a one hour repair or replace service on Blackberry phones, and price protection where customers get reimbursed the price difference if the price of the product drops in the store within five days of purchase.
“Part of achieving customer satisfaction is being readily available to the customer when and where they need your services. By expanding Axiom Telecom’s reach across the UAE, we are furthering our commitment to convenient and hassle-free shopping with more branches for our customers to visit,” said Al Bannai.
